Personenmitnahme beim Semesterticket im VVO im Mai '22

Take someone with you on the semester ticket in the VVO in May '22
 
Als Dankeschön für die Treue der Studierenden als Kunden der Verkehrsbetriebe während der Coronapandemie im letzten Jahr könnt ihr im gesamten Mai täglich abends und am Wochenende ganztägig eine Person im Gebiet des Verkehrsverbundes Oberelbe (VVO) auf eurem Semesterticket mitnehmen.

 
Im letzten Jahr bedankte sich der VVO in den Sommerferien bei ihren Stammkunden für die Treue während der ersten Welle der Coronapandemie. In der Dankeschön-Aktion 2021 wurde die Gültigkeit der Einzeltickets erweitert und auch die Monatskarten erhielten während der Sommerferien die Möglichkeit der Personenmitnahme.
 
Wir Studierenden fanden in dieser Aktion leider erneut keine direkte Erwähnung, konnten aber erreichen, dass das Semesterticket für einen Monat die Möglichkeit der Personenmitnahme im VVO erhält.
 
Und diesen Monat wollen wir nun im Mai einlösen!
 
Im gesamten Mai habt ihr die Möglichkeit, in Gebiet des Verkehrsverbundes Oberelbe (VVO) eine erwachsene Person und bis zu vier Schüler bis zum 15. Geburtstag auf euer Semesterticket mitzunehmen.
 
 Vom 1. Mai bis 31. Mai 2022 gelten also folgende Regelungen:
  • Personenmitnahme eines Erwachsenen und maximal 4 Schülern bis zum 15. Geburtstag täglich zwischen 18 Uhr und 4 Uhr des Folgetages sowie am Wochenende und Feiertagen ganztägig.
  • Diese Regelung gilt im Gebiet des Verkehrsverbundes Oberelbe (VVO) (Karte: https://www.vvo-online.de/doc/Tarifzonenplan-mit-Liniennetz.pdf) und nur dort, wo auch das Semesterticket gilt
  • Es kann nicht statt der Person ein Fahrrad oder Hund mitgenommen werden
  • Ihr braucht keine weitere Bescheinigung, das Semesterticket reicht aus
 
Bitte beachtet, dass die Mitnahme nur im Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe gilt - eine Mitnahme von Personen außerhalb des VVO ist leider nicht möglich. Ihr könnt die Mitnahmeregelung mit einem Ticket kombinieren und müsst so bspw. bei einer Fahrt von Dresden nach Leipzig für die mitgenommene Person nur ein Ticket von Riesa nach Leipzig* lösen.
 
Also schnappt euch eure Schulfreundinnen und -freunde, Eltern oder andere tolle Menschen und erkundet Dresden und die Umgebung zusammen.
 
(* Für eine Mit-Fahrt von Dresden nach Leipzig im Mai ist dann die günstigste Ticketkombination übrigens folgende: Von Riesa bis Dahlen ein Einzelticket (ggf. mit BahnCard-Rabatt) kaufen und von Dahlen bis Leipzig dann anschließend ein Hopper-Ticket

As a thank you for the loyalty of the students as customers of the transport companies during the Corona pandemic last year, you can take one person on your semester ticket in the area of the Upper Elbe Transport Association (VVO) every evening and all day on weekends throughout May.

Last year, VVO thanked their regular customers during the summer vacations for their loyalty during the first wave of the corona pandemic. In the thank-you campaign 2021, the validity of the one-way tickets was extended and the monthly tickets were also given the option of taking people with them during the summer vacations.
 
Unfortunately, we students were again not mentioned directly in this campaign, but we were able to achieve that the semester ticket holder were given the option of to take someone with them in the VVO for one month.
 
And now we want to redeem this month in May!
 
During the whole month of May you have the possibility to take one adult person and up to four students up to their 15th birthday with you on your semester ticket in the area of the Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe (VVO).
 
 From May 1 to May 31, 2022, the following regulations apply:
  • Carriage of one adult and a maximum of 4 pupils up to their 15th birthday daily between 6 p.m. and 4 a.m. of the following day, and all day on weekends and public holidays.
  • This regulation is valid in the area of the Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe (VVO) (map: https://www.vvo-online.de/doc/Tarifzonenplan-mit-Liniennetz.pdf) and only where the Semesterticket is also valid
  • You cannot take a bicycle or dog with you instead of a person
  • You do not need any further certificate, the semester ticket is sufficient.
 
Please note that the transport is only valid within the Upper Elbe Transport Association (VVO) - unfortunately, it is not possible to take people with you outside the VVO. You can combine the transport regulation with a ticket and thus, for example, when traveling from Dresden to Leipzig, you only have to buy a ticket from Riesa to Leipzig* for the person you are transporting. 
 
So grab your school friends, parents or other great people and explore Dresden and the surrounding area together.
 
(* For a co-ride from Dresden to Leipzig in May, the cheapest ticket combination is the following: From Riesa to Dahlen buy a one-way ticket (possibly with BahnCard discount) and from Dahlen to Leipzig then a Hopper ticket.
